IDAHealth named to the BDMT Global Top 40 Global Innovations List 2026
IDAHealth has been selected for the 2026 BDMT Global Top 40 Global Innovations List, the first global edition of the program, in the Medical Devices & Wearable Technology category. The list is chosen by a panel of investors, clinical key opinion leaders, and industry experts, and recognizes innovations on three criteria: closing a real gap in the market, the ability to scale, and the potential to solve a major problem in their field.
The recognition is for IdaFlo TR, the single-use sensor behind the category we call Guided Compression.
After every heart procedure done through the wrist, the artery is compressed for hours. That compression has two jobs at the same time: stop the bleeding, and keep blood flowing through the artery while it seals. Cardiologists call this Patent Hemostasis, and every cardiology society recommends it. Today’s compression bands solve only the bleeding half. Whether the artery stays open is checked by hand every 15 to 30 minutes, a series of snapshots with flow assumed, not measured, in between.
IdaFlo TR completes the second half. It attaches alongside any compression band and adds the first continuous, real-time measurement of radial artery flow during compression, the way continuous glucose monitors replaced finger-stick testing. Measuring flow on every procedure standardizes compression, shortens hemostasis time to support same-day discharge, frees nursing capacity, reduces radial artery occlusion, and preserves the artery for the repeat procedures, bypass surgery, or dialysis access that many of these patients will later need.
Being named to the Top 40 places IDAHealth among a select international group of next-generation medtech companies and opens the door to BDMT’s wider program, including the Innovator Summit and its US market-access network. The selection is exactly the kind of independent, third-party validation that matters as we build the Guided Compression category and bring IdaFlo TR toward the clinic.
