IDAHealth for investors — the measurement layer for Patent Hemostasis
The opportunity: more than 14.5 million transradial cardiac procedures are performed each year, trending past 18 million as the wrist becomes the default access route, a large and fast-growing category. Radial artery occlusion still runs around 13 percent, and no device measures whether the artery stays open during compression. That is the gap IdaFlo TR fills. Compression today takes three hours or more; with Patent Hemostasis from minute one it can drop to ninety minutes or less.
Why now: radial access is now the default and the femoral fallback that hid the cost is gone; every major cardiology society now endorses Patent Hemostasis; and low-power sensing has finally made a single-use monitoring sensor viable.
Traction and regulatory: ten European Centers of Excellence committed and major US networks engaged through leading interventional cardiologists. A prospective ISO 14155 clinical pilot benchmarks IdaFlo TR against Doppler, on the German MDR pathway, with US 510(k) clearance targeted for 2027. A manufacturing partner is in place, and patents are granted across the US, EU, Japan, China and India. IDAHealth was named to the 2026 BDMT Global Top 40 Global Innovations List.
